Certification

EN 388 4X42D standard means it has been tested for and offers protection against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing, and perforation.

Abrasion Resistance (4): The glove withstands over 8,000 cycles of abrasion, rated on a scale from 1 to 4 (4 being the most resistant).
Blade Cut Resistance (X): The test was not performed or the glove does not apply to the ISO 13997 straight-blade cut resistance standard.
Tear Resistance (4): The glove resists tearing forces of over 75 newtons, rated on a scale from 1 to 4.
Puncture Resistance (2): The glove handles puncture forces between 60 and 100 newtons, rated on a scale from 1 to 4.
ISO Cut Resistance (D): The glove offers medium to high resistance to straight blade cuts, rated on a scale from A to F.
