EN 388 3132X standard means it has been tested for and offers protection against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing, and perforation.
- Abrasion Resistance (3): The glove withstands 2,000 to 8,000 cycles of abrasion, rated on a scale from 1 to 4 (4 being the most resistant).
- Blade Cut Resistance (1): The glove has low resistance to blade cuts, rated 1 out of 5, where 5 offers the highest protection.
- Tear Resistance (3): The glove resists tearing forces of 50 to 75 newtons, rated on a scale from 1 to 4.
- Puncture Resistance (2): The glove handles puncture forces between 60 and 100 newtons, rated on a scale from 1 to 4.
- ISO Cut Resistance (X): The test was not performed or the glove does not apply to the ISO 13997 straight-blade cut resistance standard.
